PHILADELPHIA – 3/18/24 – The Delaware-PA2 District of the United States Postal Service will have personnel at 585 Post Offices outside the city of Philadelphia hosting job fairs on March 19, 2024, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Anyone who lives in a ZIP Code beginning with 180 thru 199 outside of Philadelphia can visit their local post office to learn about the many jobs available. This area covers all of Delaware and dozens of local counties – including Bucks, Chester, and Montgomery – extending up to Lehigh Valley and west to Scranton.
“The Postal Service has hundreds of different positions within our organization, and this district wide fair includes indoor and outdoor positions – clerks, city, and rural carriers,” said USPS spokesman Paul Smith. “Many employees begin as a clerk or carrier and love the jobs while others pursue them as a steppingstone for additional opportunities. We encourage folks to join our team.”
As part of USPS’ Delivering for America Plan, the goal is stabilizing the workforce by creating opportunities to work for the government’s most trusted agency. To assist potential applicants, USPS personnel will be available to provide detailed information and answer questions about open positions.
